Bañaderos: The Historic Gateway to Northern Gran Canaria

A tribute to the indigenous history and culture of the Canary Islands.

The name of this ship, and that of all the vessels in our Fred. Olsen Express fleet, pays tribute to the history and indigenous culture of our land. Would you like to know the origin of the name Bañaderos Express?

To understand this name, we must sail back to the 15th century and disembark in the north of the island of Gran Canaria, near the ancient town of Arehucas (Arucas), in the Kingdom of Agáldar (Gáldar).
