Yes, you can access the port with your vehicle before the ship's departure and leave it in the Fred. Olsen Express pre-boarding area. This is only permitted close to the scheduled departure time. Otherwise, leaving your vehicle unattended in the pre-boarding area is strictly prohibited. Alternatively, paid parking facilities are available for passengers right before reaching the pre-boarding area.

Q: What documentation do I need to bring to board?

Unless otherwise indicated on the ticket or at the time of purchase, the only thing you need to board, whether on foot or with a vehicle, is the passengers' identity document.

Q: How can I get to the port of Los Cristianos?

If you need to continue your journey to La Gomera, La Palma, or El Hierro, you can use our Ferry Bus service, which connects the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the Santa Cruz transport hub (Intercambiador) and the port of Los Cristianos. If you are travelling with your own car, simply follow the signs from the port itself to join the South Motorway (TF-1). This motorway connects directly to Los Cristianos, where the port entrance is also clearly signposted.

Q: What happens if I miss the ship? Can I change my ticket at the office?

Do not worry. If you miss your ship, you can change your ticket for the next departure. All our tickets allow date changes within the same fare class at no additional cost.

Yes, inside the terminal you can find a cafeteria where you can have a drink or a snack before boarding. Please keep boarding times in mind, especially if you are travelling with a vehicle, as you must be ready to board 40 minutes before the ship's departure.

The Santa Cruz terminal has a taxi rank and a bus stop right outside the terminal on Avenida Anaga, where several routes stop on their way to the Santa Cruz transport hub (Intercambiador).

How to Get to the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Terminal

Boarding takes place at different piers depending on whether your destination is Agaete or Huelva. Check the departure pier for your route to ensure you arrive with plenty of time.

How to get to the Agaete boarding pier and Terminal building

To reach the Fred. Olsen Express terminal in Santa Cruz de Tenerife by car, you must take Avenida La Constitución and enter the port service road (Vía de Servicio), keeping the Auditorio de Tenerife on your right.

Once inside the port area, simply follow the signs for "Fred. Olsen" until you reach the Edificio Puerto Ciudad, where the boarding area is located.

If arriving on foot or by public transport, you can take the bus from the Santa Cruz transport hub (Intercambiador) and get off at the Estación Marítima stop, or walk towards Plaza de España.

To help you plan your arrival smoothly, please keep the following schedules in mind prior to boarding:

With a vehicle: Boarding for passengers with a vehicle closes 40 minutes before the ship's departure, so you must be at the dock and ready to board well in advance.
On foot: Boarding for passengers without a vehicle closes 20 minutes before the ship's departure, unless otherwise specified on the ticket.

How to get to the boarding pier for Huelva

IMPORTANT: The boarding area for the ferry to Huelva is not the same as the one for the ferry to Agaete. Please note that satnavs such as Google Maps may not show the exact route, as the way goes through the port's internal roads.

To get there, follow these directions:

Enter the port via the main access located next to the Auditorium.
Merge your vehicle onto the service road for Muelle Ribera.
After passing through four tunnels, continue straight along the Muelle del Este service road until you reach the Las Olas Roundabout.
Take the first exit at the roundabout to access the Fred. Olsen Express boarding area directly.
