Take care of the islands with Fred. Olsen Express! We organise clean-ups of beaches, coastal areas and seabeds throughout the archipelago. Our aim: to conserve the coastline, raise awareness of the importance of caring for the marine environment and protect the ecosystems and species that inhabit it.

Island Tenerife

Join our next beach and seabed cleanup!

On June 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., we’re organizing another cleanup event in Tenerife. The activity will start at Playa de la Viuda - Playa de Lima (Arafo) and end at Playa del Socorro (Güímar).

Our clean-up and outreach activities are carried out under official authorisation and in cooperation with the environmental protection association, Terramare Medioambiente. This action is part of our In Harmony with the Sea project, which encompasses all of the environmental sustainability initiatives developed by Fred Olsen Express. Check them out here!

Island La Palma

Join us to take care of the Isla Bonita!

On Friday 29th September, starting at 11:30 a.m., a beach clean-up will take place on the coast of La Palma and its seabed. All volunteers are welcome.

If you come from another island, you can benefit from a very reduced rate to travel to the clean-up site. Trips from Tenerife: 8:30, return at 17:00.

Island Tenerife

Join our next beach cleanup in Tenerife and help to take care of the Islands!

On Wednesday, December 13, starting at 10:30 a.m., we will be carrying out a beach clean-up, concretely, at muelle de Los Cristianos beach, also including seabed cleanup. All volunteers are welcome. For those who may need it, a Ferry Bus service will be offered departing from Intercambiador de S/C de Tenerife at 9:00 a.m. and returning from the disembarkation area of Fred. Olsen Express in the port of Los Cristianos at 2:00 p.m. Last places! Sign up today and help to take care of our coasts.

Island Gran Canaria

Island Fuerteventura

We already have a date for another of our coastal and seabed cleanups!

This time, it will take place on June 7th, on the island of Fuerteventura, concretely on the beach of Esquinzo, Morro Jable.

*For logistical reasons, we recommend that only Fuerteventura residents join us. If you travel with us from another island and wish to participate, you should consider that, in order to arrive on time to the activity, you would have to travel the day before and cover additional expenses. We appreciate your understanding.

Once the registration period has closed, volunteers will receive full details of the activity by email.

Island Lanzarote

Attention, volunteers!

We have a new date for the cleaning of the seabed and coastline in Lanzarote.

The activity will take place on november 7th in the town of Playa Blanca, specifically in Playa Flamingo, at 10:00 am.

For mobility reasons, we especially invite residents of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote to participate.

For those volunteers traveling from Fuerteventura, the schedules from Corralejo will be: departure at 9:10 am and return at 1:30 pm, with arrival at 1:55 pm.
