Benchi Express
The ship Benchi Express is the latest great addition to Fred.Olsen Express, and covers the so-called internal Gomeran line. Since last 28 March 2009 this catamaran has made daily connections between Valle Gran Rey-Puerto de Santiago- San Sebastián and Los Cristianos (and viceversa) in short periods of time and at very low cost.
Putting the boat Benchi Express into operation means a great improvement in Gomeran maritime communications, which complement other Fred. Olsen, S.A. services on the island, and which also reflects once more the degree of committment that exists with its inhabitants.
The Benchi Express is a ship catamaran with a capacity for more than 300 passengers and which reaches a speed in service of 30 knots. It is 40.20 metres in length and 10.10 metres wide.
Passengers on board will be able to enjoy two cafeterias, wide seats, unbeatable exterior views, terrace, television, as well as the free magazine Océanos and a Wi-Fi zone, where clients have the option of free internet access with their own laptops and PDA, etc.
